I realized that I could get five corners of equal length—two corner kado plus one edge kado, and two edge kado—so I made a prototype.

Because each kado leaves just the right amount of extra pleats, I was able to shape it into a 3D form and add volume to the legs. I’ll finalize the design with this shape.
