About
Kamiori studio is a project that enriches people’s lives by utilizing the concept of origami, a traditional Japanese handcraft. I’m working to create a better future with people who value what we inherited from the past and can make things with their own hands.
Why origami?
I love the art of origami, an art that has been handed down from generation to generation. Just by folding a sheet of paper, we can make anything, and we can pass the method on to others. I can even relive what the author once thought, by folding paper in the way that they thought of it.
Because origami can connect the past with present, I believe that its ideas can be used to create a rich culture and pass it on to the next generation, while respecting the past.

Access
The studio is located in Senpaku Kosha, a shared studio that was created by renovating a 60-year-old company house.
